Faith Sweetser Barry is a native of the South Coast~happy memories of growing up on Padanaram harbor brought her back home to raise her family. Coming from a large family and raising 4 children made for a lot of connections throughout the Dartmouth community.
Finding a natural affinity to the art of massage therapy led to study at The Wellness Resource Center. Starting with 650 hours of education at the center as well as volunteer work at the Council on Aging, an Alzheimer's unit and at UMD,Faith has continued study of the art of massage therapy. Additional classwork has included; Alleviating Piriformis Syndrome,Radioulnar Joint & Elbow Techniques and Aromatherapy, Relieving Migraine Symptoms as well as seminars with David Palmer and Dianna Dapkins. In 2007 Faith was fully licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and started practice.
In 2014 Faith attended the AMTA New England conference exchanging energy and ideas with other massage therapists and completed a seminar in rejuvenating facial massage and another in Structural Therapy. One of the highlights was an additional class with massage rock star Val Guinn~~
This year Faith has completed additional study and practice in Massage Cupping, working with the sinuses and shoulder and neck pain/tension. A seminar concentrating on low back pain was very helpful in the practice.
